Born in Summit, he played Little League in Union and attended Union High School. An avid fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants, he loved going to Yankees games with his father, the late Joseph W. Torre. He also enjoyed relaxing at home and spending time with his family.
A self-employed business person, he owned JT Detailing.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy J. (nee Rummel) Torre; a sister, Tina Ferreira and her husband Michael; and another sister, Cheryl Calabrese and her husband Michael. He was also the loving uncle of Audrina, Alexa and Lia.
Arrangements were by Galante Funeral Home, Union, where the service was scheduled Thursday morning. Internment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
